Siamo Elena e Paolo, mamma e papà di Davide un bellissimo bambino pieno di vita e di energia, con l'argento vivo addosso. Il 3 di luglio 2015, quando aveva poco più di 3 anni e mezzo, tutto cambia e nulla è più come prima. Un incidente in piscina durante un Centro Estivo priva Davide della sua vitalità e della sua energia. La terribile, fredda diagnosi: “Tetraparesi spastica, la cui patogenesi è da riferire al danno ipossico-ischemico in sindrome da annegamento.”
Inizia un percorso lungo e difficile di ritorno alla vita. Dopo i primi mesi di ospedale, si susseguono numerosi viaggi alla ricerca di una terapia efficace nel tentativo di recuperare una autonomia negata.
· A settembre voleremo a Barcellona presso Cinamed per Miotenofasciotomia selettiva chiusa, spendendo 4.700,00€ + il volo 283,00€ e il soggiorno 600,00€ per 4 giorni
· Dal 20 agosto al 2 settembre 2017, in Slovacchia presso il centro Adeli Medical Centre: Terapia 3.300,00€ più viaggio e soggiorno.
· A dicembre ritorneremo in Spagna per Ciclo Riabilitazione Intensivo, l'importo delle spese mediche è di 1.900,00€ + il volo e il soggiorno per 14 giorni.
· Ogni 7 giorni, Davide fa una seduta di musicoterapia, al costo di 40,00€
· A dicembre 2016 e maggio 2017 volo in Messico per: Autotrapianto Cellule Staminali, costo degli interventi 10.000,00$(dollari americani), per voli, assicurazioni e soggiorni 7.643,00€
· 4 cicli di Crossystem a Marina di Massa nel 2016, 720,00€.

Hello, we’re Elena and Paolo, the parents of Davide, who was a beautiful little boy, full of life and energy, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Unfortunately, on 3rd July 2015 everything changed and he has never been the same. An accident in the swimming pool of a summer camp deprived Davide of his vitality and energy, and all the colours of his life. The final medical diagnosis was terrible, “Spastic tetraparesis, caused by hypoxic-ischemic damage due to drowning syndrome”.
And so, we started our long and difficult voyage back to life. After the first few months in hospital, numerous journeys followed in our search for effective treatments which could help Davide regain some of his previous autonomy.
Every 7 days, Davide does music therapy treatment, which costs €40.
In 2016, Davide had 4 cycles of Crossystem treatment in Marina di Massa (Italy), at a cost of €720.
In December 2016 and May 2017, we flew to Mexico for Davide to have staminal cell auto-transplant therapy, which incurred costs of $10,000 for the operations and €7,643 for the flights, accommodation and insurance.
From 20th August to 2nd September 2017, we will be in Slovakia in the Adeli Medical Centre for another medical treatment for Davide, which costs €3,300, as well as flight and accommodation expenses.
Later in September 2017, we will fly to Barcellona (Spain) to the Cinamed Clinic for Davide to have selective closed myotenofasciotomy treatment, costing €4,700, plus €283 for the flights and €600 for 4-day accommodation.
At the end of the year, in December 2017, we will return to Spain for a cycle of intensive rehabilitation for Davide at a cost €1,900, in addition to the accommodation costs for 14 days.
