Un milagro para Amaia-Medical fund

Hola! Soy Amaia Montero León, tengo 11 años; nací con una malformación llamada Espina Bífida e hidrocefalia. Actualmente tengo una Escoliosis neuromuscular muy severa (80° grados aprox.), la cual esta aprisionando mis pulmones y mi corazón. Estuve inmovilizada durante más de un año, con un yeso en todo mi cuerpo, sin poder ir a la escuela y llevar una vida normal!!!
En febrero del 2018 viajé a Panamá para ser evaluada por los médicos del Shriners Hospital for Childrens, y califiqué para ser atendida en uno de sus hospitales en los Estados Unidos. El día 28 de enero de 2019 es la cita para evaluación preoperatoria y posteriormente la cirugía, en la ciudad de Shreveport, Louisiana; la estadía en el hospital será de 8 semanas aproximadamente.
El tratamiento médico no tiene costo alguno, pero debo viajar con papá y mamá, ya que no camino y utilizo una silla de ruedas y sus gastos personales (boletos aéreos, estadía y comidas) deben ser costeados por cuenta propia.

Hello! I am Amaia Montero León. I’m 11 years old and I was born with a malformation called Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus; I have a very severe neuromuscular scoliosis (approximately 80 degrees), which is imprisoning my lungs and my heart. I was immobilized for more than a year, with a plaster cast all over my body. Due to my condition, I could not go to school and lead a normal life, so I want to get well soon!!!
In February of 2018 I traveled to Panama to be evaluated by the doctors of the Shriners Hospital for Children, and I qualified to be treated in one of their hospitals in the United States. The appointment for evaluation and surgery is scheduled for January 28, 2019, in the city of Shreveport, LA. The length of stay in the hospital is approximately 8 weeks.
There is no cost for medical treatment, but I must travel with my father and mother, since I can not walk and I use a wheelchair. They must cover personal expenses (plane tickets, accommodation and meals)
To continue this battle, I need your generosity!
