<div>I am Yasmina Mohamed Boubacar, and my journey has been one of resilience and hope. Raised in the Fraternité Notre Dame orphanage, I achieved academic success despite immense challenges, earning my Primary School Certificate at just 8 years old. However, my dreams were disrupted in 2017 when my health began to decline. After years of uncertainty and misdiagnoses, I was finally diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare and incurable disease that affects fewer than one in a million people.

<div>This condition has robbed me of the ability to perform daily tasks, causing severe pain, seizures, and muscle rigidity. I urgently need an immunoglobulin transfusion to stabilize my condition and prevent further deterioration. However, the cost of this treatment is far beyond my means. Without it, my condition will continue to worsen, and I will suffer increasingly severe seizures every day.

<div>Je suis Yasmina Mohamed Boubacar, et mon parcours a été une histoire de résilience et d'espoir. Élevée à l'orphelinat Fraternité Notre Dame, j'ai réussi académiquement malgré d'immenses défis, obtenant mon Certificat de l'École Primaire à seulement 8 ans. Cependant, mes rêves ont été bouleversés en 2017 lorsque ma santé a commencé à se détériorer. Après des années d'incertitude et de mauvais diagnostics, j'ai enfin été diagnostiquée avec le Syndrome de la Personne Raide, une maladie rare et incurable qui touche moins d'une personne sur un million.
