UMB Helps Mrs. Dee!

Hey there UMB students!
If you don't already know the amazing woman in the middle of this picture, she is fondly known to us as Mrs. Dee! Mrs. Dee is a loving and caring mother who spends her week making sure the students of UMB are safe. She even refers to the students at UMB as her children! Mid January Mrs. Dee was the victim of a hit and run accident while she was riding her bike into work. Thankfully Mrs. Dee survived the accident and continues to come into work and ensure our safety on a day to day basis!
Mrs. Dee was left with a $700 ambulance bill and several hospital bills totaling about $2000 dollars. Mrs. Dee was planning on selling personal possessions to help foot the bill, but she is one of our own and deserves our help as soon as possible.
As a grad student we are aware money is tight, and that not everyone can afford to donate to the cause, but, as her family, showing her some unconditional love and support is always free and we personally thank you!
If you are able to donate, THANK YOU! Every dollar counts, we are excited to see our whole community come together to help one of our own in her time of need!
