<div>In den Räumen des ehemaligen Dieselmotorenwerks Rostock haben wir als gemeinnütziger, ehrenamtlich organisierter Verein einen einzigartigen und besonderen Ort geschaffen:

<div><strong>UKW Kraftwerk</strong> – ein Freiraum für Subkultur, Kunst und kreative Selbstorganisation. Hier wird Kultur abseits des Mainstreams gelebt: unkommerziell, offen für alle und von unten gestaltet.

<div>Unser Verein zählt rund 80 aktive Mitglieder, die sich auf ganz unterschiedliche Weise einbringen: an der Bar, an der Kasse, bei Technik, Organisation oder Aufbau.
</div>
<div>Jede Schicht, jede Veranstaltung, jeder Handgriff basiert auf freiwilligem Engagement.
</div>
<div>Wir halten den Laden gemeinsam am laufen - aus Überzeugung. Unser Ziel ist es, in Rostock einen Ort für authentische Techno- Subkultur zu schaffen: unabhängig von Trends oder Szenedruck.

<div>Mit Fokus auf Musik, Gemeinschaft und Selbstorganisation.

<div>Doch sinkende Besucherzahlen und fehlende finanzielle Mittel bringen uns an den Rand der Schließung.

<div>A venue for alternative culture, art, and creative self-expression is on the brink of closure.

<div>In the former diesel engine factory of Rostock, we — an independent, non‑profit, volunteer‑run association — have created a unique and special place:

<div><strong>UKW Kraftwerk</strong> – a free space for subculture, art, and creative self‑organization. Here, culture off the beaten path is lived: non‑commercial, open to everyone, and shaped from the bottom up.

<div>Our association counts around 80 active members who contribute in many different ways: at the bar, on the door, with sound and lighting, in organization, or with set‑up. Every shift, every event, every single task is based on voluntary commitment. We keep the place running together — out of conviction. Our goal is to create in Rostock a space for authentic techno subculture: independent of trends or peer pressure, with a focus on music, community, and self‑organization.
