Help ardee tidy towns

Due to the vandalism on our polly tunnel we really need your help to get it fixed. Due to covid 19 we don’t have our normal funds to fix or replace anything that the tidy towns rely on
ardee tidy towns
is one of the principal community groups in the Town. Our objective is to make Ardee a better place in which to live, and a more pleasant place to visit and enjoy.
We have a core committee which takes responsibility for the presentation, appearance, and development of the Town for the following 12 months on behalf of the entire Ardee community. We also have a large group of Tidy Town volunteers and CE Scheme personnel who undertake litter control, maintenance of flower and shrub beds, and other community and development work around the Town.
We maintain close links with the various residents associations in Ardee as well as with the businesses in the Town. We liaise closely with Louth County Council, local Councillors and other elected representatives, and also with the Gardaí.
We all know, it has been a rough year and Ardee Tidy Towns, like most groups, have suffered.
Although we had no competition, we still strived to maintain the town as to the best of our abilities. We continue on to cut the grass, plant flowers and alas continue on with expenses to help make Ardee look well.
Traditionally we would have had a church collection and/or a flag day.
So we are asking you for a donation, no matter how small, all will be appreciated. We look forward to the New Year and bringing out Ardee in bloom once more.
