On Monday, September 25, 2017 Crystal went to urgent care after being home sick for 4 days with abdominal pain. She was told that her appendix had ruptured and she underwent emergency surgery .
A few days later the doctor came in to her hospital room only to give Crystal some bad news . A carcinoid tumor had ruptured her appendix and that was the reason she never had the typical symptoms of appendicitis.
Crystal has been out of work since 9/22/17 and has now been discharged from the hospital to go home on complete bed rest. This will be a long road for Crystal in that she will be undergoing more tests in the upcoming weeks due to the carcinoid tumor.
As a nurse for so many years, Crystal has provided loving and unconditional care to many, many patients. As someone who has given this care so generously, we are asking that you consider sharing your help with her during her time of need.
Many have asked what they can do to help Crystal. She will be out of work for sometime and has already accumulated a large medical bill, not to mention the regular monthly expenses.
Supporting Crystal with whatever you can give will help relieve the financial burden and would be greatly appreciated. This assistance from all will lift some of the stress from her so she can focus more on getting healthy and strong.
