Assist mothers alzheimers care cost

Donation protected
If anyone of you that has read The Notebook or at least have seen the movie, My Father is Noah. They have been married 57 years now and Mom has struggled with Dementia for the past decade. Recently this form of Alzheimer's has progressed at a rapid state. My father has remained stedfast in his daily devotion despite getting very little sleep, lack of social life due to inability to leave her side, and the nightly hurt and frustration when the condition erupts and she doesn't know him or even recognize she is in her own home; the symptoms worsen at night. My parents devotion to their 3 boys, along with a modest hardworking income; combined with the loss of most of his retirement as a ressult of the recession have not prepared him for the huge expense of her care. My middle Brother was unfortunately killed in a car accident, and my oldest and I are unfortunately are basically making ends meet. In effort to make a living, I was forced to move accross the country and live so far away from them. I feel guilty that I am not there to help and even more troubling is that I have not been able to acheive financial comfort that can provide serious help in his financial burden of her care. I call daily and speak with both, although she rarely knows who I am or can converse more that a handfull of repeated sentences. Dad is cheerful and positive most days and some days overwhelmed and scared. For the first time in my life I have heard him cry, and that is happening more often.  He refuses to believe that he has lost the woman he knows and loves so deeply to this desease, and tirelessly tends to her every need. He needs more help and we are doing our best, but the costs are climbing and it is starting to affect his health. So if you find it in your heart to help, they so deserve it. As I raise my kids, I discover everyday just how amazing they were and are in raising us; never missing a sporting event and making sure we made it to practice, great moral values, unrelenting love and care, as well as the necessary tough job of balanced discipline. My children remind me every day how daunting and rewarding it is to be a good parent, and I know that I have the best. please help if you can.
