UK Power Networks CiC Charity Monopoly Walk

On the 13th June, my CiC colleagues and I are carrying out the monopoly walk through London in aid of a chosen charity, mine being Epilepsy Society. As some of you may know in 2018 I was diagnosed with epilepsy which has had a significant impact on my life ever since. Those diagnosed with epilepsy face many challenges throughout their life, from not having access to medication all the way to being excluded from certain activities and jobs due to the risk they pose in the corporate world.

I am lucky enough that UK Power Networks has supported me ever since joining 9 months ago, giving me the chance to discuss these challenges with my colleagues and educate them on the ways to support those that have the condition.
