Our son Cody was involved in a set up situation on Facebook that nearly cost him his life. We are trying to raise money to help him out for expenses to care for his family. There are also items that will be needed to help with future rehabilitation . Once the swelling goes down more in the neck and arm area the doctors can determine more about the what rehabilitation or surgery if needed. We do expect some form of rehab will be needed for his right arm and hand. He is eventually going to have surgery or at minimal need shot injections in his neck and throat to help with everyday talking. Cody is expected to be out of work for a long period of time as well he has a long road to recovery. We can not go into to many details of the situation at this time as a legal investigation is going on. I have attached some items to get an idea of what he went through. We are lucky to still have him in our lives and feel blessed that he should survive the ordeal with a full recovery. Not to many people can say they were ambushed and stabbed 18 times, left for dead and still able to talk about it. We truly appreciate all the love and support to this point. We ask for you to please continue to pray as we feel each and every one of them...
The best thing is they were able to catch the deranged individual that did this to our son. We our glad that we can at least rest easy knowing he is off the streets and not able to cause harm to anyone else...
