<div>Recently, I was in a devastating accident that changed everything. I was hit by a semi truck and one other car. In an instant, I lost my dog, my home of six years, all of my belongings, my moped (my only transportation), and my job. The physical injuries were just as severe: I broke my neck, pelvis, both knees, and my left arm. I also suffered a traumatic brain injury that left me in a coma for a month and caused permanent loss of peripheral vision.

<div>Right now, I’m unable to work and am doing my best to recover while staying wherever I can. I’m essentially starting over from nothing, physically, emotionally, and financially. I’m scared, overwhelmed, and navigating most of this on my own while waiting for disability to come through.

<div>I’m asking for help to cover basic needs, medical expenses, transportation, and a safe place to stay while I get back on my feet. Any support—big or small—means more than I can express.
