Help our Therapeutic Horse Heal

Our hearts were in our throats at Valley Riding Inc. this week when Classy, one of the hardest working therapeutic lesson ponies, became ill.  After an initial exam at the stables, she was rushed to the equine hospital for more extensive treatment.  Multiple tests and medications later it was determined that surgery was, thankfully, not necessary.  Once she was stabilized, she had to remain in the hospital for three additional days for supportive care.  We look forward to Classy coming home this week but we still face a long road ahead.  She will be on medication for the rest of her life and will require further testing to ensure she does not become sick again. 

Valley Riding Inc. is a non-profit dedicated to providing horseback riding lessons, primarily to children with varying abilities.  Our goal of $6,000 will help us to bring a happy, healthy Classy back to her beloved lesson students.
