<div>On April 8, 2024, our son had a life-threatening accident that has forever altered the course of his life and the lives of his two precious children.

<div>Corey was a vibrant, hardworking father and dedicated to providing for his children. However, tragedy struck when he was involved in a devastating car accident that left him with severe life-threatening injuries -- he was burned over 70% of his body.

<div>Corey now faces an uphill recovery. So far, the road has been long and arduous. Corey is facing countless medical procedures, extensive and longtime rehabilitation, plus ongoing care. Corey now requires round-the-clock assistance for even the most basic tasks.

<div>Presently Corey is receiving care at a burn unit in Denver Colorado which takes his insurance. Therefore, he is unable to be cared for by his family in California where hospitals do not take his insurance for his injuries.
</div>
<div>Through your generous donations Corey has been able to pay for his hotel room and get the bare necessities to sustain himself during this grueling time.
</div>
<div>However, his funds are now nearly depleted as Corey attempts to find stable housing working with various care agencies. Corey has come such a long way in such a short time. Nevertheless, Corey is in danger of losing the ability to continue to pay for his hotel room even at a discounted rate.
</div>
<div>Now more than ever every donation counts and will depend on if Corey can remain in Denver and continue the care his so desperately needs. As well as being able to continue with all the operations and physical therapy required to bring him back to a place where he can sustain himself and resume a productive life.
