My daughter is having to fight a custody battle for our granddaughter...Stonie. The father is a recent parolee who served time for a Felony Conviction for Theft including Firearms. Upon his release, my daughter agreed to a short weekend visitation - and he hasn't returned her since.
During the past two weeks, my daughter has been the target of a smear campaign - aimed at destroying her rights as the mother of Stonie. Interesting as the Father and his family have a long history of arrests and convictions, jail time, prison time and rehab stints.
You can imagine what my daughter is going through - and the worry we have for our little Stonie - as she has been in the constant care of her Mother from birth - and seen little of her Father over the years of his rehab stints, incarceration in the State of Texas - and incarceration in the State of South Carolina.
We have spoken to an attorney who will fight this - and need to retain her with a $3500 retainer today - as we have been surprised with a court date for this coming Monday, October 15th.
Each person who helps will be paid back in full. We just need your help.
