Michelle's Household Recovery -Fire
Donation protected
Michelle is a single mother of 6 children, ranging in ages from 4 years old to 18 years old. She is such a strong mother who works multiple jobs in order to provide a good home for her kids and support her oldest through her first year of college.
Michelle received a call from her neighbor on Tuesday afternoon (while she was picking up a couple of her kids from school) saying that her house had burned down. Her eldest daughter, neice and two youngest sons were at home at the time, but were able to get out safely.
Everything she owned was destroyed by the fire, including her second (family sized) van.
We have neighborhood donations of some clothing and furniture, but she will also need support with basic supplies and personal items, as well as deposits for new housing. If you have any financial availability to help, please do so and know that you are helping an amazing and hard working woman and her children to start again.
