Tony's Chair

A lot of us have heard about the incredible adventure Tony had skiing this winter. Well, he has the opportunity now to incorporate the same technology used in his ski for a chair system that would work both on his manual wheel chair and his electric chair. It will give him freedom of movement he hasn't had in three years. An additional huge benefit is that he will be able to sit for much longer periods than the 4-5 hours max per day he has now. He needs to go to Denver to the company, Ride Designs of Aspen Seating for a week to be fitted. They will make a cast of Tony's bottom and then mold a seat to fit. They will keep adjusting this seating over three days as Tony tries it to remove any high or low points that would cause skin breakdown.

Of course, this is going to be costly, between $8,000 and $10,000, with all his expenses of the chair, travel, attendant care, hotel, etc. Family and friends, Tony could use our help! Would you like to donate something toward this wonderful cause? Together, we can make this happen for Tony!
