Rebecca’s medical bills

Hi everyone, on Saturday, September 1st, 2018 my bestfriend/roommate Rebecca Olsen was involved in an ATV accident. Unfortunately she was in Minnesota and did not get health insurance. After the accident she was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and treated and assessed in their emergency room there. The hospital she was brought to did not have an orthopaedic surgeon, which is who she needed to see. She then had to be flown back to Winnipeg, Canada so she could be treated at HSC. The verdict is that she fractured her spine in 2 different places and will have to be in a brace 24/7 for approximately 6 weeks. As of right now she is still in the hospital and will be until she can walk again. Rebecca works full time at a group home and attends the University of Manitoba. She will not be able to work for quite some time but is still going to try and keep up with her fall classes. We are asking for donations for her hospital bills as we already know they will be very high, anything helps, and we very much so appreciate it. If you are not able to donate anything please keep her in your thoughts and  wish for a quick recovery for her.
