I have been blessed with the opportunity to participate in Kingdom building in the nation of Uganda this next month from Nov. 29-Dec. 23. I will be working with the Africa Christian Training Institute in Kampala alongside a few other students. Our team is led by Dr. Henry Krabbendam, professor of Biblical Studies and Evangelism at Covenant College who organized and has run ACTI for 30 years.
I have felt a burden for foreign missions my whole life and my continuous desire has been to go back and share the love of Christ in service to the amazing African people since my trip to Malawi in 2011. ACTI has a two-fold ministry of evangelism and discipleship in Uganda among various other ministries I will have the opportunity to lead and participate in: http://www.ugandamission.net

I need to raise $3,500 to cover the total cost of the trip including all travel and living expenses as well as funds for our evangelistic and discipleship ministries. With the Lord's help I have determined to to step out in faith and pursue community fundraising at the outset of my trip. During this holiday season of gift-giving and bargain shopping, it is my prayer that many of you would feel led to also support the Lord's work overseas. Any amount is generous and greatly appreciated as I take on this endeavor, though I would like to raise the funds in increments of $50 and $100 or more. This would mean I would only require 50 or so participants. All contributions are tax deductible through Africa Christian Training Institute.
