Partner with me to bring Art education and something never experienced to 120 children in rural Uganda.
I will be teaching at a rural school from which children from surrounding villages attend near Zirobwe, Uganda. The school supports and takes care of almost 500 children from babies to Jr. High. I will be working with grades 5-8. These children are loved by God and I'm privileged to use my talents and heart for them to teach very basic art skills to grades 5-8 over a three week time period from early November to early December 2018.
I'm serving through the non profit ministry, Empower A Child. EAC supports children and their families with a variety of Faith Based programs and services. Most, if not all of these children have never been exposed to any art education. The average monthly income for a family of 5 in Uganda is just $133.00.
My mission is to bring something to them that will be fun, spark creativity, show them the Love of Christ, and hopefully to inspire them to achieve their dreams. They have nothing in the way of access to affordable materials or art supplies. Please consider partnering with me to provide for them materials like drawing pads, pencils, crayons, and other basic classroom materials. You may never meet them but I can assure you that through something so small you will have an impact on their lives forever! All moneys raised through this fund will go directly toward the materials and shipping. Any leftover funds will go directly to the school.
