Uganda Mission Trip with Oakwood NB

Dear Family and Friends!
This June 13-23, I will be traveling to Jinja and Kalagala, Uganda in Africa with Oakwood of New Braunfels under the leadership of Larry and Beth Lane (www.oakwoodNB.com ). This mission team will be sorting and distributing medications, assisting with a dental clinic, assisting with school building projects, and visiting God is Grace Women's Homes, churches, schools, and the Mashah Orphanage. We will be taking clothing and other supplies to leave in Uganda - I plan to pack solely in a carry on and take two checked suitcases full of supplies. The last day will be spent as a group enjoying a boat ride down the Nile River (if flights permit). I have made the decision to give of my time, my energy, and my abilities to assist and love on others in our world community. I am excited to think about this time of Christ centered service and fellowship and am thankful that God can use me for this purpose.
If you feel prompted to support me and our team in this endeavor there are several ways to do so. The first is to pray for this team and pray for the families we will impact - both immediate impact and in the legacy built for children to come. The second is to provide clothing/supplies. Please contact me for more detailed info on this in May. The third is to sponsor me financially. Should I receive monies above my individual cost, I will apply it to incidentals, to aide in other team member's cost, and to Oakwood's Missions Fund.
April 30th payment 1 = $1600
May 31st payement 2 = $1200
