Uganda Medical Depot

On July 17th I will be leaving again 
for Uganda. During my last trip to Uganda I made a promise as Founder of Artists for Advocacy International (AFAINT) to a young woman who was at the tender age of 15. As she held her sleeping daughter she told me that she was very ill and had trouble getting to the local hospital to receive her medications that were an approx. 20 mile round trip. A trip she often took by foot. I promised her that I would return back to the US and think of a way that she and those like her would have access to basic medical assistance and transportation.
Our Medical Depot will be simple in build but will be a tremendous lifter of burdens for the people of Buwaya, Uganda.
We have been gifted by the local clan Leader to build on his land, as well as the blessing and authority from the governing local Council of Buwaya.
The Buwaya Medical Depot will provide items such as: fever reduction medication, anti-inflammatory meds, bandages/gauze, feminine hygiene products, anti-septic, anti-biotic creams, alcohol/peroxide, as well as being a transportation liason to pick up medications from the hospital, and etc
Now its up to us...this is a huge endeavor. This first trip of 3 will be to establish the relationship with the local people of Buwaya and provide them simple assistances such as:
School Supplies/ School Fees/ Nutrition Assistance to the Elderly and Disabled/ and basic neccessities to improve quality of life in the area.
WE CANT DO ANY OF THIS WITHOUT YOUR HELP!
The trip expenses are completely funded by myself.
We ask that you donate whatever you can. 100% of your donation goes to the people of Buwaya and the items listed above.
