<div>Luke’s story is one of unimaginable cruelty — he was set on fire by a homeless man in South Los Angeles. Despite everything he’s endured, this brave boy is still fighting for his life.

<div>Luke’s condition is extremely severe. He will need to remain in intensive care for at least six weeks. Every single day, he must be placed under anesthesia so the veterinary team can clean his burns, keep the tissue healthy, and change his bandages.

<div>He’s also on 24/7 oxygen support due to serious smoke inhalation. The road to recovery will be long, painful, and very expensive — but we refuse to give up on him.

<div>Burn injuries are incredibly prone to infection, and with Luke’s additional oxygen needs, his medical costs have skyrocketed far beyond what we anticipated.
