It is with a really heavy heart that I am posting this. My boy, Gizmo, has a recurrent abscess. I just spent all of my vet fund I had saved up (a little over $500) on his first visit, his abscess lancing, meds, and a recheck. Poor boys abscess came back quite quickly and our vet has given us 2 options.. we can lance it and flush it all out again and this time send it out for cultures to get him on the right antibiotic. That's looking to cost me around $550. The 2nd option is to go in and surgically remove his abscess which would cost closer to $750. After much consideration I've decided to try to go ahead with the removal surgery. I don't have that kind of money set aside to use and I'm on a pretty strict budget that doesn't allow me to set aside much after paying for necessities. I hate having to ask for help, but I want to keep this poor baby from suffering in pain. Any little bit helps. Even just sharing this.

He's such a sweet boy and I'd love to see him get care sooner rather than later.
