On 3/13/18 Tab was taking her morning walk when tragedy struck. Tab was hit by a truck. Tab was life flighted to Baptist Hospital. The next 12 days Tab spent in ICU. Tab experienced a C-2 fracture of her neck. T-3 fracture in her back. This entails Tab having to wear a custom made back and neck brace for 3 months. Right femur fracture which she had to undergo surgery where  rods and pins were placed. Tab lost 1/2 of her right kidney due to  the impact, this consisted of another surgery to stop the hemorrhaging. She also has a left hip fracture and broken ribs. Another surgery was to remove 6 inches of her small intestine, she had a hole and it was leaking waste into her body. Tab also had stiches and staples on her forhead, eyelid, and upper lip. One of the hardest things she is dealing with his short term memory lost this was caused because her brain was swelling from the incident. I am raising these funds because Tab is unable to work at this time during recovery. With this being said she is soley relying on her dear family for 24 hour care. Her family has diligently moved schedules and missed work to help Tab to recover comfortably. Tab has a long road ahead of her. I ask that you please take the time and see if you can donate within your budget. I know every little bit helps. Unfortunately bills do not stop when tragedy hits.
