Help Tammy Battle Cancer

My mom, Tammy, became ill about seven weeks ago. She was diagnosed with pneumonia however after several attempts and  antibiotics she had no improvement. A trip to the E.R. for an x-ray found a mass on her lungs and two spots on her liver. She then went for a cat scan with dye which proved our worst fears. Cancer. Yesterday she was admitted to the hospital for an emergency bronchoscopy. The procedure showed a seven cm. tumor on her right bronchus as well as a lot of inflammation. She does in fact have pneumonia that is being blocked in the lung by the mass. The dr. has her admitted until Monday or Tuesday to have IV antibiotics/steroids to help treat the pneumonia. Biopsy results will be viewed by several individuals before being returned at the beginning of next week. She will then see an oncologist and/or hear back from the MD Anderson center regarding treatment. She has a long road ahead of her, in which ever direction she chooses to go.
