Lucy... my six year old daughter fell off of a piece of playground equipment at our local park and broke her arm in two places on Feb. 16th. Today at the doctors office, we found out the cost to fix her up with our insurance will be around 1,500.00.
My wife and I are not rich. We have iPhones and a nice laptop but we don't have a ton of money in savings for an emergency like this. After we pay our rent and bills...we use most of our remaining money to pay the babysitter to watch our kids on those rare nights when we are both scheduled to work while the kids need someone to care for them.

This is a hard thing to do but if you're able, please help us. If we receive anything over 1,500.00 or if the bill somehow lowers and there are any extra funds, it will go towards Lucy's comfort while she's stuck in a cast. I foresee her needing some new loose fitting clothes she can easily put on with this big cast.
