Help Women Affected By Coronavirus Pandemic!

The coronavirus pandemic has negatively impacted almost everybody, but not equally. In particular, it has left women economically debilitated, as many of the jobs that are being affected by “shelter in place” mandates are held by women. Additionally, COVID-19 is making women more susceptible to stress. Due to the possibility of losing their jobs, the responsibility of constantly having to constantly look after their children, all on top of doing housework, women’s anxiety levels are increasing exponentially. And for some, this new situation means facing an increase in domestic abuse, with no chance of escape.

We want to help these women in need, so we are working with the Berkeley Food and Housing Project to organize a fundraiser for needed items such as food and water, oral hygiene products, and feminine hygiene products. We do have a short timeline for this, as we want to secure the funds within the next few weeks. Watch our video to learn more. If you can donate or spread the word, we would really appreciate it!
