Big Boy is a community cared for cat who has been providing comfort and cuddles to students, staff, and faculty for the last decade+. Whether it's midday or midnight, he's around to warm a lap and collect some pets.
In February Big Boy took a field trip to the Cat and Bird clinic for a wellness check, nail trim, and some annual shots. The vet was so impressed with his calm attitude and beautiful appearance- they couldn't believe he was 100% an outdoor cat!
As with all aging pets Big Boy left the vet with some health recommendations including much needed dental work and tooth extraction. Keeping teeth healthy is important for animals and humans alike and ignoring them can result in much greater health issues so we are asking for community help to cover the vet costs of our community cat!
The office estimated the cost of dental work and extraction to be around $400 hence the set goal. Anything raised beyond our goal will be saved to cover future food, grooming, and vet care!
Thank you to all who care for this special guy. He is a happy, well loved feline and appreciates all the love and support he gets from his fellow Gauchos.
