Unity Christian Ministries is a multi-cultural ministry established to enhance Wichita Falls, TX and surrounding areas; where all walks of life are free to serve God but yet be holistically equipped to make a difference in the community. As a devout member of the Wichita Falls community, Unity Christian Ministries, now in existence for over seven years, continues to strive its programs and offerings to the community.
We began our outreach endeavors in 2007 by feeding those in the community that lived on the streets. From that movement, we knew that there was and is more that we could do. That desire moved UCM to the begin annual school supply drive and community food drives. We continue to partner with Pasty "˜s House for battered women and children, Straight Street Youth program and The Children's Aid Society Emergency Shelter in raising funds for these community organizations through our IMPACTING our Youth Events. We have also created outside ministries affiliated with our ministry, I.M.P.A.C.T college ministry and Young Men of Valor for young men ages 7-17 .
We are striving to bring about positive and long lasting changes in the lives of children, families and our entire community. Utilizing strategic and accountable ways that express the kingdom of God through compassion while providing tangible tools and resources. Our prayer is that with the programs that we have in place, poverty will cease, crime rates will decrease, families will be stronger, and our community will grow. Unity Christian Ministry is a place where everyone is welcome to change.
Being very involved in our community,we can not take from the funds allotted for our ministry work. So,we have begun fundraising projects to raise money for our new location. Our goal is to not be another church in Wichita Falls but rather be a ministry where lives are changed and our community is empowered. The past year has been a blessing for UCM, due to the PSA Land Company partially donating a building to our ministry .Our new home requires major repairs and renovations to comply with the city building codes. Our sanctuary, offices and classrooms, also need furniture.
This project requires a great demand of financial support.
With your financial contributions we will be able to attain the goals of our ministry. Any donation amount will help us get further to our goal amount and will also greatly appreciated. We ask if it's not a hindrance to your finances that 50 people donate $100.
