Krzys Boksa
Donation protected
Last September, at the age of 37, in addition to being deaf and needing a hearing aid, Krzys Boksa was diagnosed with Leukemia. Krzys is a wonderful husband and a loving father of 3 young boys, the eldest being 9 and the youngest being 18 months. This news was devastating to the whole family, especially his children. We knew things were going to change. Since being diagnosed, Krzys has been hospitalized for 6 months and went through 8 cycles of Chemotherapy. Hoping that would be the only treatment needed for him, we were all caught by surprise to find that he would in fact need a Bone Marrow Transplant in order to survive. His transplant will be done at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. This is far in general but the distance is even further for his sons, who have to be without their dad for all 3 months. This whole time Krzys hasn’t been able to work, which has been hard on the whole family and now that he is going away to Minnesota, the expenses are overwhelming them completely. Donating any amount can relieve at least the financial pressure that Krzys and his family are having to face. This way he can spend less time worrying about the expenses and more time enjoying his time with his 3 sons, particularly the youngest one who barely even knows his father yet.
