UC Davis Women's Rugby: Playoffs!

The UC Davis Women's Rugby Club is off to another round of playoffs! After two wins against Washington State University and Stanford University, we are the #2 seed in the Pacific Mountain Rugby Conference and are ready to battle Grand Canyon University at BYU in Utah on April 20th, followed by another game on April 21st (competitor TBD). Working harder than ever, the Aggies are humble and hopeful-- a win versus GCU would provide your favorite ruggers with a sure trip to the Final 4/ Nationals weekend in Southern California on May 4th. Getting ourselves to this "Sweet Sixteens"/Round of 8 tournament in Utah is our most expensive 15's trip of the year, and we need YOUR help.

We are a completely student-run organization with limited funds, as we are college students ourselves. Meeting our GoFundMe goal would provide us with transportation, board and a portion of our coach's stipends-- a change we're excited to make this year after their many years of volunteer dedication and measurable success leading our squad. Our officers make careful financial decisions in order to keep dues low so that all can play, and every member works many fundraising events throughout the year to do their part keeping the club alive. if you are unable to donate at this time or wish to carry on the generosity, consider joining us for our annual silent auction/dinner fundraiser "FEED" on June 3rd in Davis.
