A couple of weeks ago, on my way to work, I was involved in an unfortunate accident. My car was totaled on impact. After my job refused to give me time off to recover, I was fired. I didn't have enough time off to use during the day of the accident. Now, without a job or car, I am down on my luck and owe money for the deductible.
