UBS Bands Competing in Memphis

For the first time ever, the 501(c)(3) Utah Blues Society (UBS) is sending two acts to compete in the International Blues Challenge (IBC), held every January in Memphis, TN. This year's competition runs from January 16-20, 2018.  We are sending William G. Kidd to compete in the Solo/Duo category, and Tony Holiday & the Velvetones in the Band category. This is a huge step forward for your UBS and for Utah, and we are trying to raise funds to off-set their expenses (flights, gas, hotels & food) while they're competing in Memphis.  Over 250 bands are coming from around the country/world to compete and it's a great honor to represent your local blues society. We've held a couple fundraisers to date and could really use a little more support to get them there and back! Please consider a donation, of any size, to help these bands represent Utah and the UBS.
