Feed the Kids

Every year at Christmas time, parents are left with bare cabinets during the holidays. They are trying to balance that fine line of trying to do something for their kids to help Santa or putting food on the table after Christmas.

More then 27% of the kids in Hancock County go to bed hungry everyday. That number increases dramatically during and after the holidays.

We want our children to have a great Christmas every year. We all have been there. We over spend for Christmas and then are left struggling for food for the next few weeks afterward.

My goal is to buy four gift cards. Each with a $500 total. The gift cards will be given to four different families with at least two children in each household. These will be gift cards from Kroger. That way the money is spent for the sole purpose of providing food for the families.

If the donations exceed $2000. We will supoort as many families as we can with the donation amount. We would like to see the goal reached or exceeded by December 16, 2017.
