We started UADL as a way to help grow the soccer community in the USA. Youth soccer, in this country, is looked at as a white affluent sport which isolates much of the underserved communities. We found that there are many children who are passionate about soccer but lack the required money to pay for the more reputable clubs. This left many talented kids on the sidelines or playing recreational soccer without the ability to be seen by scouts for a potential opportunity to play at the collegiate level. At the moment, the two coaches are Tykiem Booker and Imran Khan. Both have experienced growing up in less than fortunate conditions and have overcome obstacles to improve our lives. But, we both knew that if we had an organization like UADL to help us, we'd be in a better situation at an earlier age. UADL is designed to provide our youth with high level training for all level of players and also focus on developing each participant into better human beings and contributing members of society. Through our program, we will develop high level soccer athletes with self confidence to become future leaders in their communities. Any member of our organization is dedicating their time to improving themselves academically, physically as a player, and building self confidence. We want to help change the next generation through the love of soccer. We are looking to raise money to acquire our land to build our own indoor soccer facility that is open to all of those that believe in our values. The facility will be one of a kind in our country. One full size, 120x70 yd indoor soccer field with a fitness center and multiple class rooms for the members to concentrate on school work and study the game of soccer. We would like to get to the point were we could be the first true academy in the country. Your help would be greatly appreciated and goes a long way towards creating a real soccer academy in the United States which is long overdue. I know many people have many different ways to spend money. We are asking for any small amount to help change thousands of lives. Please visit our website.
