My dearest friends need help.
My two beautiful bassets are both in need of veterinary care and the predicted costs of their treatments are way beyond my capable earnings .
They both have rather fast growing lumps / tumours .
Since our family was reduced to three last year after loosing my faithful Briard friend at the grand old age of 16 my two little pals have stepped up with more love and hugs and basset craziness , the two bestest pals are mother and daughter and now in their later years with my baby dog being eight.
They have developed into very loving well balanced and well behaved companions , of course they have retained their hound dog howl and their occasional stubborn need to ignore all commands , but on the whole I couldn’t ask for better pair of life partners .They go everywhere with me and have very full lives.
I know that without their company my life would not be as full of smiles as it is !!
Unfortunately they are both growing horrible growths that need attention .
Poppy the youngest has permanatly weeping and bleeding tumour growing out off her skin on her neck,
and Lucy the mother has a walnut sized growth on her upper gum that has now pushed her front teeth to one side .
all I can do is clean and treat their wounds and I feel very helpless that I can’t do more for them .
I am a very proud man and asking for help has not been my strong point , but here I am .
