PPE for Hospitals in Need

Dear friends and family,
Hope everyone is safe and healthy as our world faces this scary pandemic. Unfortunately, this crisis has put so many people in incredibly vulnerable situations. A major concern right now is the fact that health care workers are battling a surge of sick patients, with a shortage of the basic personal protective equipment (PPE) they need to keep them working safely. As both my parents are dentists, and have been state mandated to limit their office hours, we realize that there is a potential of PPE supplies in dental offices, and other businesses, that can be donated to better use at this time. My sister Roya and I started this fundraiser, PPE for Hospitals in Need, with two goals in mind. We have started to reach out to local dentists for any donations of PPE and supplies they can spare. In addition, we have started a GoFundMe page to raise funds to supplement purchasing these supplies. 100% of these funds will be donated directly to hospitals in our community. We have reached out to some family friends working the front lines in our local hospitals to get direct information on which hospitals are truly lacking.
