Family in Crisis

The Flor family, longtime residents of Delran and active in their community, have experienced the recent loss of the father due to being detained and held for deportation back to Brazil. Ari Flor, a hardworking father of 3, was in the process of applying for citizenship and had followed all the proper steps. This apparently was not good enough for the government who now have him in a holding cell awaiting deportation.
Ari’s wife, Alesandra, his 18 year old son Pedro, 9 year old son Matthews, and 1 month old daughter Anna, are left without their husband and father.
Pedro has earned a soccer scholarship to Shenandoah College in Virginia. The family has been ecstatic since they’ve worked hard to be able to send their son, the first member of their entire family ever, to attend college to study accounting.
Pedro is very active in Delran, assisting us in coaching our U11 Delran Juventus boys team. He is also a youth coach for Lil Kickers at the Moorestown Field House where he is loved by all the kids. He is looking forward to becoming a licensed coach to be able to work with youth in soccer. They are a wonderful family who love this country and have worked hard and given back to the community they live in.
We are looking for everyone’s help to assist them during this very difficult time, as lawyer fees are significantly mounting as they attempt to finish the process they have been working on since they came to this country 17 years ago. They will need help with housing, food, medical expenses for the new baby, and we would like to ensure that Pedro can follow his and his families dream of graduating college instead of having to give up on his dream and become the primary money earner in the family until his father can return.
We are asking for your help in assisting the Flor family at this very difficult time. Anything you can give to assist us in helping them will be greatly appreciated.
