Brian's Medical Fund

One day I just started having knee pains in one leg and the next day it progressed to both knees. This was quickly followed by the inability to walk. Everything pretty much went 0 to 100 real quick. Next thing I know my left hip and foot both began to swell. After that, I experienced symptoms fever, chills, loss of appetite, dizziness, sudden weight loss. At this point, I decided I needed to go out and seek the medical assistance of a doctor. I wanted to see if these doctors could figure out what was going on and sadly I left with no answers. To add insult to injury the doctors were speaking down to me telling me that it was "obviously" an injury and that I didn't want to accept that (yes that confused me as well). I know injury and physical health so I wasn't lying and to be told that I am lying did nothing to help my morale.


I went to the hospital with an already elevated white blood count and after being treated by 4 doctors the antibiotics that they had put me on raised my white blood count from elevated to extremely elevated. I was then pumped full of steroid anti-inflammatory drugs and narcotics and again nothing worked. After going back and forth and fighting with these doctors for a little over a month the fourth doctor finally examined an overlooked test result and told me to head to the ER! I was told that my alarming numbers in my blood work showed the possible presence of an aggressive infection.  This mystery illness first had me not able to leave the bed and now I am able to get around a little with the full-time use of crutches. 

I believe we are starting to unravel this mystery but unfortunately, my savings are depleted and I have no more money to pay for any more medical procedures. I am currently waiting to remedy that but to no avail and I need to figure out what to do before my inability to pay for medical expenses leave me permanently handicapped.


Loss of wages and physical impairment have left me at the mercy of incompetent doctors. To make matters worse the support system I had with my girlfriend is no longer here as she, whom I moved out here to be with, has left me and dropped me off at a friend's house and removed herself from my life (When it rains it pours).

So, team, there is no more pride left in me I NEED SOME HELP! This illness has left me unable to work, as I have just left corporate America to spread health fitness and quality of life to other people, which are my passions. I am now not able to generate an income and my insurance is doing very little to pay for anything. I appreciate anything you can do to help me. Every financial blessing helps and I appreciate it all from the very bottom of my heart.
