Service Dog for Brianna

Dear Friends,
Anyone who has spent time with Brianna over the past year has had the privilege of meeting Sheldon Cooper, service dog extraordinaire. As many of you know by now, there was a tragic accident on Tuesday, October 9, and Sheldon passed away. 

The support of Sheldon has given her a level of independence, happiness, confidence and freedom that she hadn’t been able to enjoy for quite some time and this is a devastating loss for her.  Beyond that, on a PhD student budget, Brianna has invested over $10,000 and much more time and energy into training Sheldon to be her copilot in life. 

While she is not quite ready, at some point in the upcoming months Brianna will look for a new service dog and will begin the training process with her new partner. The goal is to have some funds available for her so that finances do not restrict her when she’s ready to start the process. Any help anyone is able to give would be deeply appreciated.
