Help my S.O. regain her femininity.

I created this campaign not for me, but for my significant other.

Bear in mind that English is not my first language.

On December 24, 2004, my girlfriend was involved in a motorcycle accident and suffered a fractured femur.

When she was admitted to the emergency room, she was soon operated and the doctors put some dowels (a metal rod) in the tibia and left it for a week with a weight attached to the dowels to pull the leg.

Unfortunately due to a situation of medical negligence, she suffered a complication and the place where the dowels were located became seriously infected. After a week, she was operated again to place a peg (a realy big metal rod) in the femur.

After this second operation, the long recovery period began. It was necessary to be admitted to the hospital for 2 months.

The situation of the first operation left marks on the leg and the second operation caused the leg to lose about 2.5 cm in length.

After a few months, she was operated on again to remove the pin. 2 days after this third operation, it was necessary to return to the emergency room because the femur had not been well consolidated and became once again fractured. She was then operated again and this time they placed a metal plate and 10 screws.
A new and long period of recovery had begun again.

This resulted in physical and psychological consequences.
Currently my S.O. feels pain every day and is ashamed both of the scars and for having a shorter leg.

A girl who was ounce very feminine and outgoing, nowadays feels frustrated because she cannot wear any kind of shoes, only closed shoes that allow a 2.5cm insole to be placed, she cannot wear a skirt or any clothes that exposes her legs because of the scars, he doesn't go to the beach because whenever someone sees her legs they always look and she feels ashamed.

I created this campaign in order to raise funds for an orthopedic surgery in order to solve the problem of difference in leg size and for another plastic surgery to minimize the huge scars of the leg.

As for our finantial situation, i'm employed but living paycheck to paycheck and she's unemployed, so that's why i'm asking for your help.

The amount raised will be made available in full to cover medical expenses.

Please help my S.O. to become a woman ounce again.
