Furry Friends Fundraiser
Hello, we are the Furry Friends Fundraiser. We are students of UNLV Lee Business school in Business 103. We are looking to raise money for homeless people in need as well as their furry friends through the non-profit organization, Urban Underdogs.
Urban Underdogs seeks to assist the underserviced by providing aid such as handing out pet food and supplies to homeless veterans in need. Helping this community allows the humans of these pets who are experiencing poverty to keep their pets out of the shelter system. These individuals are often told that due to their financial status, they are unable to keep their pets, however, Urban Underdogs believe differently.
Choosing to donate any amount makes a difference:
- 10 dollars will feed a cat or a dog for over a week
- 25 dollars will put "booties" on a dog (to protect their paws from the burning heat of the Las Vegas pavement)
- 50 dollars will vaccinate a dog for a year
- 100 dollars will spay or neuter a cat or dog
- 1000 dollars feeds 3 cats or dogs for a year
Every penny counts, so please help us and Urban Underdogs make a difference in the community by donating to our fundraiser.
