<div>On Feb. 12th a large fire occurred in the same building as Reddy made cakes bakery, damaging the building significantly, and making it impossible for the business to operate for the foreseeable future..

<div>If you know Crystal Reddy, then you know Reddy made cakes is her life. She has poured her heart and soul into her business, starting it from the ground up 10 years ago, building it into a staple in the local community. She travelled to BC from Ontario with no money, no place to live, and started everything from scratch. When she landed an opportunity to rent a kitchen in the building she seized it, and began her journey in custom cakes in 2012. Since then, Crystal faced many challenges along the way, including multiple floods, Covid-19 shutdowns, restorations and renovations, and she never once let anything stop her from continuing her business. But this time it’s different.

<div>This time, to keep her business alive, she greatly needs our help.

</div>

</div>

<div>We are raising funds to temporarily relocate the business, and rent a new space to operate out of, as well for ingredients and supplies to get everything up and running. We have several employees also effected, for whom this job is their main source of income, we would like to continue to support them until we are once again up and operating.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Two long term tenants were also effected, they occupied a live in suite where the fire occurred. They unfortunately had no contents insurance and are now without a home. We would like to be able to donate some funds to them as well so they can get back on their feet.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>We will rebuild. We will be back. But in the meantime, any help or donation amount is greatly appreciated.

</div>

<div>Thank you for your support.
