Hello Friends and Community! This request has been 2 weeks in the making due to pride reasons, but with the advice and reassurance from 2 close friends, I am humbling myself and turning to crowdsourcing in hopes we can receive the immediate help needed.
Because I built my business dependent on corporate downtown, my business was not only extremely affected by Covid-19, but also the riots over the summer. With the rollout of the vaccine taking at least another 18 months, the service industry will remain heavily impacted, and at 49, I had to look into a second career to supplement my part-time stylist career.
I've been hired by the Kris Lindahl Real Estate team contingent upon passing my state and national exams on February 13th - prayers would be appreciated!
I relocated to LolaMax Salon in the vibrant LynnHurst neighborhood, and that was going quite well until the second shutdown, which brought it to a screeching halt.
My bills have compounded and I'm now dealing with car issues as well. I am asking for a bridge to help my family over the next 90 days with basic needs and help with reliable transportation so that I can focus on passing the exam and maintain our home in the meantime. My request also includes help paying for licensure, and the bills I've fallen behind on over the last couple of months.
I can't begin to tell you the relief it would bring to my family to receive this help. We can see the light, but we truly need the help bridging us to it! My family and I would be humbled by any made!
I used last year's Christmas photo because we had to put it on hold and are planning for Christmas in July - decor and all - thank you for helping us realize our dream for my chance at this second career!
