Carol's Funeral Expenses

Mom was an example of caring for others. Whether it was friends who needed a place to stay, new additions to the family, or stray dogs and injured wildlife, Mom was always the first one who would try to help others.

Though her health and been declining, Mom's death was very unexpected, and is a tragic loss. Of course, tragedies are often compounded with other factors, and this is no exception. We thought that Dad's pension included a small amount of funds for mom's funeral expenses, but unfortunately, we learned that this was not the case. When Dad's pension "aged out" and converted to private insurance, Mom's coverage did not convert as well. 

I'm organizing this fundraiser to help offset any expenses we can. All of the funds will be paid directly to the funeral home or others that we work with. Any remaining funds will go to Dad, and he can add them to a memorial we are hoping to set up in Mom's honor. Thank you for your support, even if only through your prayers as we process this event.
