We are excited to announce that the U17 Phoenix Girls Tier 1 Soccer Team from Sherwood Park has won the 2017 Provincial Championship and will now advance to
Canadian Nationals in Fredericton, New Brunswick October 4th-9th, 2017. A team built on hard work and determination, these girls are the youngest in this age division (playing up a year) and are proud to represent their home province of Alberta on this national stage.
This incredible group of young ladies, coached by Sean Fleming, are dedicated on and off the field to the team concept and all other fundraising will be carried out by themselves and their families. This rare opportunity is very exciting but it is also very expensive. We would love to give these young athletes a hand by reaching out to our virtual family and friends for any amount that you are able to contribute.
We are trying to raise our goal of $20,000.00. This will go towards team flights, meals, apparel, ground transportation, equipment, training facilities and other expenses associated with the journey to this elite national tournament in New Brunswick.
