Hi! My name is Jacob Wells, and I’m a third-year dental student at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. This December, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to travel to Hopewell, Jamaica with the Christian Dental Society on a weeklong mission trip to provide free dental care to underserved communities. During the trip, we’ll be offering vital dental services such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, and even root canals — all at no cost to the patients.

Access to dental care is extremely limited in many areas of Jamaica, and this mission will allow us to serve individuals and families who might otherwise go without treatment.

I'm reaching out to ask for your support in helping make this mission possible. The total cost of the trip, including lodging and airfare, is approximately $1,700. Any donation — big or small — will go directly toward funding this effort and helping bring care, comfort, and hope to those in need.
