Tysen's cancer treatments

My grandson Tysen Baeskens has been flown to Salt Lake City children's hospital where the oncology team found four tumors. One on his hip and three on his spine.  He will be going into surgery Sunday Nov.18, 2017 to remove one  of the tumors. They will biopsy that tumor and decide his course of treatment. Chemo is a given and will be done in Salt Lake for up to nine months.  Tye lives in Laurel Montana with his sister and single mom.   Any donation  will help mom with all the expenses.  Thank you and please pray for Tysen

Up date: Two tumors removed and chemo begins in about 12 days.   He and mom are now at the Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake... thanks to all of you for your prayers and donations

New update:  Cancer diagnosis is Ewings Sarcoma.
Port will be installed and bone marrow biopsy will be done one day this week with chemo starting Monday or Tuesday of  next week.  He may get to return to Laurel for a day or two after chemo if he is feeling up to it.
Thanks to everyone who has either donated or prayed to Tye.

Latest on Tye:  Had his first chemo treatment on Monday Dec. 4, 2017.  It was not kind to him resulting in more hospital time and a  blood transfusion.  Now that his fever and red blood cell count is good he can go back to the Ronald Mc Donald house until Monday the 18th. He will receive his second round of chemo then...please pray this treatment is better to him. Thanks everyone for your prayers.
