Tyree Dower's Memorial Fund
Update: After 3 weeks of battling for his life, Tyree Dower passed away at 2:00am on Sunday, August 13th, surrounded by loved ones.

Tyree Dower suffered a severe seizure in his home on Sunday, July 23rd and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Lorain, Ohio. Between his wife, his 14 year old son, and the EMTs all providing CPR and AED, they were able to regain a pulse. Unfortunately due to the amount of time his brain was without oxygen, Tyree has not regained consciousness. After spending 3 days in the ICU at Mercy, Tyree was transported via mobile ICU unit to Fairview Hospital for treatment.
We have received numerous offers of assistance to his wife, who is now taking time off of work without pay for around the clock care of Tyree and their 3 young children. This is our reason for setting up this GOFUNDME account, to give those looking to give a way to do it. The funds raised will be used for the medical bills incurred as we continue to fight for Tyree's life.
For anyone unfamiliar, Moses Tyree Dower is an incredible man who welcomes and befriends everyone he meets. He loves his family and friends, and always makes sure that you know he does. For us writing this, Tyree is our source of wisdom, a willing helpful hand, and someone who has taught us how to live and treat other simply by setting a positive and consistent example. He is not only a father of 4 total children, he has served as a foster parent for more than 2 years. He is an excellent cook and loves to grill, almost as much as he loves and cares for his wife, Awilda. Its tough to put into words just how much his family needs him, and how much it would mean to them for a full recovery because he represents everything they aspire to be.
