Typhoon Odette Aid for the Negrenses

Hi everyone. My home island of Negros was hit by Typhoon Odette (Rai) last Thursday 16th Dec 2021. I am thankful that my family are all okay however not everyone was lucky. It saddens me that this tragedy happened just a few days to Christmas and to see and hear stories of what the people are going through right now is truly heartbreaking. Year after year typhoons hit the Philippine archipelago and the island of Negros has been lucky to have experienced only the tail ends of it.. until now.

Christmas is hugely celebrated in the Philippines. It’s meant to be a season where families can gather together in one house, share food and exchange gifts. This year will be different for those affected by Odette.

I’ve set up this gofundme page in order to reach out to anyone who can help those that are still suffering especially in Negros where little to no media coverage/aid is given. Odette left some areas without power, water, telecommunication signal and food. Any amount you can give is welcome and all proceeds will go to buying building supplies to help them rebuild their houses, basic food packages, drinking water and anything else that they will need.
